Privacy Policy
What we collect when you reach out, why, and how to ask us to stop.
Last updated October 8, 20261. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Cambric Inc. ("Cambric," "we," "us," or "our") collects through cambric.co (the "Site"), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We built the Site to be simple, and we try to keep our data practices just as simple: we collect what you volunteer to reach us, and not much else.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Intake & contact form: when you start a conversation through the Site, we collect what you submit — typically your name, email address, business name, and a description of what's slowing your business down.
- Email capture: the "start a conversation" field in the footer collects the email address you enter.
- Roadblocks Roadmap: your answers to the 24 questions, and what you enter at the end: first name, email address, business name and type, your annual revenue range, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, team size, tools, what keeps you up at night, and the numbers for the optional cost estimate. We use them to build your results, email you a copy, and follow up about what you find.
- Booking a call: when you pick a time, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and any note you add.
- Unstuck Toolkit: if you ask for the free PDF, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your name, so we can deliver the toolkit and follow up about what you try.
- Direct outreach: if you email us or message us on a linked social profile, we'll have whatever you send us there.
Information collected automatically
- Basic server logs: our hosting provider logs standard technical data (like IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.
- Site analytics: we measure how the Site is used with our own analytics, running on our own servers — nothing is sent to an analytics vendor. For each page you view, we record which page it was, the name of the website you came from (not the full address), any campaign tags on the link you followed, whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer, which links and buttons you click, and how long you stayed and how far down the page you read. We don't use cookies or browser storage for this, and we don't keep your IP address or a browser fingerprint. To count visitors, we use a one-way scrambled code made from your connection details that changes every day, so it can't be used to recognize you on another day. We honor your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings. This applies to our public pages only.
- Where your visit came from: if you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, the Roadblocks Roadmap and booking pages note the campaign tags and ad click identifier on that link (for example, which ad you clicked), the page you landed on, and the website you came from. This stays in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. If you then submit the Roadmap, we save it on your record so we know which ads bring in real inquiries.
- Ad measurement (Meta): when we run ads on Facebook or Instagram, the Roadblocks Roadmap and booking pages load the Meta Pixel, and our server also sends Meta events through its Conversions API. The events are: viewing the Roadmap, starting it, reaching its halfway point, submitting your details, viewing your results, and booking a call. When you submit your details or book a call, we also send Meta your email address and, if you gave it, your phone number and first name, each scrambled with a one-way hash, so Meta can match the event to an ad. We never send your answers, your revenue range, or what you wrote about your business. If you have Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turned on, we don't load the Meta Pixel and we send nothing to Meta.
3. How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Run Grace's fit check — roughly $100K+ in annual revenue and a mission- or purpose-driven business — and let you know where you stand;
- Respond to your message and, if it's a fit, move into discovery and scoping;
- Deliver the Roadblocks Roadmap and follow up with you about it, including up to three short follow-up emails over the next ten days, each with a link to stop them;
- Measure whether our ads reach the right people, and improve them;
- Deliver the Unstuck Toolkit and follow up with you about it;
- Understand which pages are useful and how people find us, so we can improve the Site;
- Keep the Site secure and working correctly;
- Meet legal or contractual obligations, where applicable.
We don't use intake submissions to send unsolicited marketing to lists we didn't already have your permission to email.
6. Retention
We keep intake and contact submissions for as long as reasonably needed to run the fit check, follow up, and maintain a record of the relationship — and longer if you become a client and a signed service agreement requires it. If a lead doesn't move forward, we periodically clear out submissions we no longer need.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you;
- Correct information that's inaccurate;
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it (for example, under an active service agreement);
- Stop contacting you.
You can stop the Roadmap follow-up emails any time with the link at the bottom of each one. To keep your visit out of ad measurement entirely, turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor both, and we treat Global Privacy Control as your request to opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising.
To do any of this, email us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — we'll honor requests consistent with applicable law.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, though, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and operators, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
11. Contact us
